Michael Furrh using a 20'6" driver in slow motion. He set the Guinness World Record this day!


This slow motion video captures Michael Furrh swinging his 20' 6" driver after already breaking the Guinness World Record. On Monday, November 3rd, 2014 at Rolling Hills Country Club in Arlington Texas, Michael Furrh - Caddiemaster with Caddie Club Golf and Club Ambassador for Rolling Hills CC was making his attempt at becoming a two-time Guinness World Record Holder for the world's Longest Usable Golf Club. Michael's first attempts were with a 19 foot 5 inch graphite driver weighing 36 ounces the farthest carry distance hit with that club was 89 yds measured by myself of Golf Etc. with a Foresight Sports GC2 Launch Monitor. After establishing a new Guinness World Record, Michael decided to one up himself and swing a 20 foot 6 inch driver weighing 52 ounces. On the first swing of the day with the new club he hit the ball 45 yards on the fly. Michael proceeded to hit a few more shots longer with the longest shot carrying 63 yards. There were at least thirty witnesses along with CBS channel 11 news and many professional photographers on hand to witness this feat and bring the world record back home to the great state of Texas! At the end of the day Michael for claims the status of 3x Guinness World Record Holder.

Nuevo récord mundial: un hombre golpea una bola de golf con un palo de más de 6 metros. Se llama Michael Furrh, nunca ha ganado nada en el mundo del golf, pero ya ha entrado en el Libro Guiness de los Récords. ¿Por qué? Furrh consiguió golpear una bola con un palo de 6,24 metros de largo. Lo hizo en el Rolling Hills Country Club, en Canadá. Aquí tenéis el vídeo, en el que como podéis comprobar tiene que dar un giro de 360 grados para poder golpear la pelota.
